Because of one of their main teachers, Holly Hui, i would recommend this course to anyone interested and committed to learning how to become a barber. I understand that the course is relatively new to this school, and is still going through working out little kinks. Holly was not only professional while providing exceptional education and instruction, but made it fun at the same time. Waking up early and feeling able to go 8 hours straight without complaining about how much content I had to consume was made possible by having a teacher that was able to adapt and fight for our needs.

As an international student, all instructors very concerned about whether we understand, they tried to slow down and make sure we all understand the content. Every instructor has many practical experience in fashion industry, and they generously share their professional skills and knowledge. Besides, Blanche provides many internship and volunteering opportunities so that we can reach out network and have more connections in our career.

I highly recommend the Fashion Marketing program at Blanche Macdonald to anyone interested in learning about the fashion industry. In this program, you will learn about the current creative directors of major fashion brands as well as their founders. You will also acquire a vocabulary related to fashion, styling, social media, and other essential skills that will undoubtedly help you secure a job in the fashion industry. Additionally, their location in downtown Vancouver is a plus, as it is easy to access by transit or car, and it is close to the main retail area, where you can find a wide variety of stores ranging from affordable to luxury ones that will inspire you! I enrolled in the international program, which lasted for six months. Even though I already had a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from Mexico, this program helped me reinforce my knowledge, learn fashion-related vocabulary in English (which is my second language), and understand styling and buying. These were things that I found fascinating and useful in creating a more complete profile, which eventually led me to land a job in one of Vancouver's fashion brands with a substantial presence in Canada and the US.

I had a great experience at this school. I specialized in International Fashion Marketing and participated in a one-year co-op program. The school has a diverse faculty with knowledgeable and experienced people. I had a fulfilling time learning from them. The careers advisors have extensive industry connections and actively support students in building their careers. They provided practical advice on how to secure jobs, making it an ideal choice for those wanting to work in the fashion industry. During my studies I worked at a local concept store and am currently employed as a buyer. I recently had the opportunity to work at Paris Fashion Week. And I'm also using my experience here to get involved in various activities, including customer service, store visual merchandising of stores, directing and marketing support. I am grateful for the various experiences that this school has provided, which have contributed greatly to my journey in the fashion industry.

I went to Blanche for a year and graduated in Fashion Marketing. Moving forward I think the school is beyond fair and has teachers who don't harrass you emotionally like other colleges. They are always trying to improve their lectures, teaching methods and post-graduate career assistance and I do not regret this experience. It's probably wise to keep in touch with the teachers.
